The source of inspiration for this particular idea is the culture of drug use in the clubbing scene. The balloons a celebratory gesture adopt a sinister meaning as the air filled objects that were once in a 'high' state gradually fall to the ground mimicking the 'coming down' side effects linked with Ecstasy and Acid. Eventually the once smiling faces lay distorted on the floor being stepped on by passers by.
